Who is The Alex Youth Health Centre?
The Youth Health Centre will provide comprehensive health services in a multidisciplinary team in a welcoming, accessible, confidential and youth-friendly environment, free from judgment and bias.
Who is it for?
The main purpose of the Youth Health Centre is to reduce barriers to accessing health care for youth aged 13 - 23 who may be homeless, and those at-risk of being homeless.
What is available?
Services at the Youth Health Centre will include the following:
- Connecting youth to resources and supports to address social determinants of health
- Physician and nursing support
- Counselling
- Health related issues
- Pregnancy testing and Counselling
- Pap tests
- HIV & STI testing and support
- Drug and alcohol issues
- Family issues
- Teen advocacy
- Condoms
- Education and employment support and Counselling
- Housing & job-search help
- Dealing with stress
- Nutrition
- Food
- Help with getting lost ID
- Any other health-issues raised by youth

When can I go there?
Come see us anytime, whether you feel well or sick, or just need to discuss some things with us. We are open Monday to Friday 1 pm – 6pm. Medical hours are Monday through Thursday.
Please note that waiting times for drop-in will vary depending on the number of people ahead of you.
