The only mobile health facility of its kind west of Toronto, The Alex Community Health Bus will deliver more than 25,000 services in the coming year.

The Health Bus stops at a number of locations on its weekly route including homeless shelters and facilities supporting families.

Staffed by a Crisis Counselor, Registered Nurse, and at some locations a physician, they provide medical, educational and referral services to low-income and at-risk citizens.

The team on The Health Bus is on the frontlines of those most in need.  Their relationship with patients and in-depth knowledge of these individuals and families is what makes this team so successful.
