Food hampers that are better suited for Calgarians without access to a kitchen are available from through The Alex's facilities, Community Health Bus, and Spinz-A-Round program.

These special hampers include non-perishable nutritious foods, as well as plastic utensils and napkins.

An example of what may be included in a Hamper for the Homeless would be: canned tuna, packages of crackers and cheese, juice boxes, and other ready-to-eat items.

The Hampers for the Homeless are provided to The Alex by the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.
